Overview
The client is a female in her early 30’s. A professional interior designer working from the flat. She has quite a dark personality, is keen on cosy and protective spaces. She loves socialising and frequently has guests for dinners and parties.
Elevations
Brief
The flat needs to be practical but also work as a showcase for the client’s work. She would use the space to meet up with clients and discuss project ideas. Connection with the garden and focus on social spaces are a must.
Bedroom en-suite with walk in closet, separate office space, WC for guests, open fire fireplace and barbecue area.
Proposal
To use the project as a statement of the designer’s style and taste, using sensuous curves and a very manly palette of contrasting colours, whilst still keeping to a very functional lay out. Removal of all interior walls forming an open plan social area and extension to the rear.
